This Committee is responsible for:

Finance related matters for all conferences for which the Society has major financial responsibility. The committee assists the Finance Chairs of the conferences sponsored by the CSS to develop the conference budget and to close the finance after a conference has been held. For conferences with a budget and an actual expense of less than $100K, the committee also performs an audit of the finance.

The Conference Finance Chair manages the conference bank account, deposits, and payments. The General Chair is responsible for preparation of the initial budget and for reporting the final accounting. Surpluses or deficits accrue to the general CSS budget. Final accounts are audited by the IEEE (for larger conferences) or by a CSS audit committee.
