USAB Aerospace R&D Policy
The overall objective of the Aerospace Policy Committee is to develop and disseminate positions on aerospace related (both commercial and military) legislations, policies and programs in the United States within the scope of, or affecting, IEEE technical expertise (e.g., FAA regulations, aircraft and engine controls, avionics and spacecraft navigation and guidance). The committee seeks to make a positive contribution to the United States Aerospace policy and program planning. The views of the committee may be presented to the appropriate elements of the United States Government, while some of the members may also be called to give congressional testimonies in their areas of expertise.
