The CSS Standing Committees perform a service to the Society by pursuing topics of long-term interest to the membership. The role of these positions is two-fold:
1. to express to the engineering community at large the interests
and views of CSS and
2. to communicate to the CSS membership what issues have arisen in the general engineering environment that are of particular importance to them.
The CSS Technical Activities Board currently includes one standing committee, Standards.
