Description: To recognize an outstanding Chapter of the Control Systems Society.

Prize: $1,000 payable to the Chapter, a Certificate laminated on a plaque, and up to $1,000 travel support for a Chapter representative to attend the CSS Awards Ceremony.

Funding: Funded by the IEEE Control Systems Society.

Eligibility: Chapter must be active for at least one (1) year prior to consideration.

Basis for Judgement: Level of activity, based on number and types of activities; Innovations, based on developing clever ways to promote new activities or services; Revitalizing an existing Chapter or starting a new one..

Presentation: At the Awards Ceremony of the CSS

Nomination: Nominations, based on the annual reports requested from all chapters, are prepared by the chair of the Chapter Activities Committee, by June 15. The Member Activities Board selects at most one (1) Outstanding Chapter each year, by June 30.
